Tasting Note

Don’t let the dainty floral presentation fool you. Certainly, the hue is light garnet, and the nose dominated by the scent of rose petals. However, there is depth, complexity, and a quiet power behind this pretty face of a wine. Like a raspberry tart, it is velvety soft yet mouthwatering and rich. The fine-grained tannins enmeshed in the pillowy texture lead to a remarkably stretched out finish, like echoes of Billie Holiday.

Vintage Note
2018 was characterized by a cool spring and a very good fruit set that led to our highest yields across all of our varieties. Temperatures were moderate throughout the growing season and provided grapes with complex flavors and good acidity at lower sugar content.
