Tasting Note

The classic Grenache/Mourvèdre/Syrah trio plays another one of your favorite tunes. Blackberry, licorice root, and petrichor (the smell of the first rain, hopefully here by the time you read these lines) harmonize charmingly in this upbeat and catchy version. No trumpets here. More like the warm hum of a tenor sax over some bright chords, a spicy crescendo before a sustained and fruity fade out. 

Vintage Note
2018 was characterized by a cool spring and a very good fruit set that led to our highest yields across all of our varieties. Temperatures were moderate throughout the growing season and provided grapes with complex flavors and good acidity at lower sugar content.
